MODIFICATIONS AND CONFIRMATION
Step 3
Developing a landscape plan that lives up to the client’s expectations is a multi-step process. Our experts take the time to understand your unique requirements during the first consultation before working on a plan.
A good consultation session helps ensure the final design is to your satisfaction. However, we still leave room for masonry structure modifications or plan changes. Our designer will request a second consultation meeting to discuss changes or get confirmation.
Landscaping Design Modifications
During this second meeting, our experts will show you drawings and backyard design rendering. They will explain essential aspects of these plans in detail, so you understand their full potential. Here’s a look at what we will discuss during this second consultation:
- Backyard Layout – Our designer will point to different elements of your landscape in relation to the house. For example, they will show how easy it is to access the patio through your living room or how a backyard fountain is visible through a bedroom window. They will also highlight structural elements like retaining walls, stairs, driveways, walkways, etc.
- Materials Selection – Our experts will show you samples of the different materials like pavers, veneers, cinderblocks, bricks, asphalt, and artificial turfs. You can decide which of these options are suitable for a masonry project. In most cases, material selection happens during the first consultation, but it is common for clients to change their minds at this stage.
- Estimate – We provide a rough estimate during initial discussions and keep your budget in mind while our experts develop the final design. Once the process is complete, we provide a more concrete cost of installation. You can make changes and cut some elements if you feel that we’re going over-budget.
- Modification – Our estimate includes the cost of one or two revisions. You can make a few changes to the landscape design drawing at this stage. Our expert will review these plans, make necessary adjustments quickly, and provide a final sketch.
Realistic renders help clients visualize how their backyard would look. We use proven design software to develop these hardscape renders as accurate plans reduce the need for revisions.

Design Confirmation
Once you are satisfied with the landscape plan, designers mark their work as complete before moving on to the next phase of the project. Last-minute changes can disrupt workflow or cause several errors, and that’s something we want to avoid at all costs.
We hand over client-approved plans to a dedicated project supervisor and make sure they clearly understand the scope of the job. Our designers and managers maintain open communication to ensure everyone is on the same page. The project manager will oversee the masonry installation tasks, making sure everything goes according to plan. You can reach out to our design team even when construction is in full-swing for advice or clarifications.
